About digitalmemories.me.uk
Richard has been working with a range of different technologies for the past 40 years. As a toddler he was always interested in the buttons and switches on the hifi equipment at home, and he enjoys working with older technology alongside the most recent developments. This has meant that he was well placed to establish digitalmemories.me.uk and provide a professional and personalised conversion and transcription service to a range of individuals and organisations.
Each conversion job is different, and Richard will work with you to ensure that your requirements are clearly agreed and that the memories will be accessible in the best way for each particular conversion.
Because of the nature of old media, sometimes it will be damaged beyond recovery, or sometimes there will be blank media amongst a collection. In these instances, there would be no charge if the media cannot be accessed or it is blank. You will be kept informed about the progress of your job if there are any concerns.
Jobs will always be processed as quickly as possible, and we aim for the maximum turnaround time to be a week. However, at busy periods, or if there are special requirements as part of the job, it may take longer, but you will be kept informed. In reality, jobs are usually turned around much faster, but this cannot be guaranteed. If there is a particular urgency to a job, always mention this, and we will do our best to help you meet your deadline.
Based conveniently in Lichfield in the Midlands, original media can be delivered in person, posted, or collection by a courier service can be arranged if necessary; sometimes, for larger jobs, it maybe useful to arrange collection in person and this can be agreed if needed.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch via the contact page or email to discuss how we can help revitalise your inaccessible memories.
